Add a Level Projects
Major Home Remodeling is our specialty. Customers call us to completely remodel their homes. These major remodels include an add a level as well as a single or multi level home addition. The existing first floor is always completely stripped down and renovated to create an open floor plan, large kitchen and relocated bathroom. The add a level allows for all of the bedrooms to be located on the second floor along with a master bath as well as a common bath. If space allows, we also incorporate a laundry on the second story addition.
Additions:
If you plan on adding to the existing structure, this can be done with a single or multi level home addition. Add on to any room in the house for a growing family in need of more space. Many of our complete home remodeling projects incorporate a single or multi level home addition. This allows us to increase the floor plan which in turn we create an open floor plan on the 1st floor and added space to the bedroom layout upstairs.
Above you can see a 12′ bumpout across the entire rear of a home. This will provide 2 levels of added space to this entire home remodeling project.
Basement Remodel
If you want to create usable space in your basement, remodel your basement to its potential. Most of our entire home remodeling projects incorporate a finished basement. For starters, we will strip the basement down to its masonry walls and floor. Then we install a french drain and sump pump around the perimter of the basement. Homeowners usually opt for a bathroom located in the basement. Pending the size of the family and their entertainment needs, they either agree on a 1/2 bath or full bath. Your finished basement makes a great play area for the children.
Bathroom Remodel
Here is your chance to create a new beautiful bathroom or remodel an existing one. Are you thinking of a grand master suite. Incorporate a master bath within. Most add a level projects include the common bathroom and a master bathroom. On the first floor, pending the traffic flow and if a new guest bedroom is created, there will be a need for either a full or half bath.
Bedrooms – Remodel
On a home remodeling project in New Jersey, when we add a level to the home, we then shift all of the bedrooms up to the second floor. As mentioned in the “Addition” section above, we can incorporate the added footage into the upper floor plan. this allows for a larger layout. Most entire home remodels allow for at least 3-4 bedrooms on the new home addition. We always allocate the most room for the master bedroom suite.
